Thimphu - Punakha
Drive about 3 hours to Punakha.
Climb up the mountain road to Dochu La at 3140m. On a clear day, the pass commands a wonderful panorama of the Eastern Himalayas. Descend through varied forest and finally emerging into the cultivated valley of Punakha.
Hike through beautiful rice fields to Chimmi Lhakhang Temple. In the afternoon, visit Punakha Dzong located at theconfluence of the Pho Chu (Male River) and Mo Chu (Female River).

Day 01: Depart Dhaka at 8:00 pm by overnight A/C bus journey
to Shiliguri after border passing.
Day-02: in the morning entry at Burimari immigration and
continue on to Shiliguri after having an early lunch jeep drive to Jaigaon complete
border pass and entry at Phuntsholing, overnight in hotel.
Day 03: scenic drive Phuntsholing-Thimphu (180KM/6-7 HOURS)
In the morning started scenic drive by shared bus or private
vehicle journey to Thimphu, on the way stop for photography and have lunch,
late in the afternoon free time after shower in the Thmphu hotel.
Day-04: Thimphu day long trip (9AM-1PM & 2PM-4PM)
After taking breakfast visit Sangay view point/BBS Tower and
Zigmey Doorje Nationl Park. A beautiful traditional wooden bridge is there,
where you will get an attraction view of Thimphu.On the way back visit Stupa,
after lunch visit SAARC Building and Tashicho Dzong.
In this full day tour if time permits visiting The
Parliament of Bhutan, Thimphu memorial Chorten, Archery Ground, Tango Buddhist
Institute, Clock Tower Square, Changangkha Lhakhang oldest temple, Simtokha
Dzong, In the evening free to enjoy Thimphu nightlife, dinner and night halt at
Hotel, Thimphu.
Day 05: THIMPHU -PARO (120KM/4 HOURS)
after an early breakfast 4 hours drive to Paro where you
will trekking to the famous Tiger’s Nest (Paro Taktsang) situated 900 meters
above the Paro Valley. This trekking may required physical fitness, but it's worth
it when you stand high and view the temple’s breathtaking scenery and after the
tour, be transferred to the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong where you also can take
some nice photography with the stunning surroundings of Chomolhari Mountain,
overnight at Paro hotel.
Day 06: PARO-PHUENTSHOLING -BORDER(80KM/3 HOURS)
Early in the morning leave Paro to Phuntsholing and entry in
India catching evening bus journey to Dhaka via Burimari.
Day 07: Early morning on arrival Dhaka ending the Bhutan
trip.
